Dr Ashwitha Gundmi

Dr Ashwini is a qualified Fetal medicine consultant. She completed her MBBS at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) in 2011, MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from ESI PGIMSR, Bengaluru in 2014 and followed up with the MRCOG degree from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. With Post-doctoral fellowships in Fetal Medicine and Certifications from the Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK, she is committed to providing fetal care to the highest standards.

In fetal medicine, Dr Ashwini has a keen interest in prenatal diagnosis and counselling for genetic abnormalities, high-risk pregnancy, fetal growth restriction, and structural abnormalities. She is dedicated to empowering parents with the right information through thorough fetal ultrasound scans. This information can greatly improve the care of both the mother and the baby. She is also passionate about writing fetal medicine blogs for patient education, teaching, and research, and has several peer-reviewed journal publications in the field of fetal medicine.
