Recognised FNB Training Centre in Maternal & fetal Medicine

It is a prestigious milestone achieved through excellence in maternal care, supported by the provision of advanced clinical facilities and dedicated academic activities.

Aryamba Centre for O & G Research & Excellence is one of the few hospitals offering this fellowship, designed to train obstetricians in high-risk pregnancy management and the care of complex maternal and fetal conditions.

With limited seats available, this highly competitive fellowship is recognized by the National Board of Examinations (NBEMS), reflecting the institution’s clinical excellence, teaching strength, and commitment to quality obstetric care.

WMN offers two eighteen-month fellowship programs accredited by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka

Fellowship in Foeto-Maternal Medicine
Successful completion leads to a Certificate as a Fellow in Foeto-Maternal Medicine.

Fellowship in High-Risk Pregnancy
Successful completion leads to a Certificate as a Fellow in High-Risk Pregnancy.

Each course has an intake of two fellows per batch.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

  • Eligible candidates include those with MS/MD/DNB in Obs and Gyn/MRCOG who have obtained permanent registration with any State Medical Council.
  • Candidates with DGO in Obs and Gyn and permanent registration with any State Medical Council will also be considered.
  • Admission typically takes place in August, with the course commencing in September.
  • Selection is based on merit and aptitude, with an admission process involving a written test and interview.
  • All candidates sit for University examinations after completing the eighteen-month course, which includes both theory and practical components.
