About the Fellowship
WMN offers two eighteen-month fellowship programs accredited by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka
Fellowship in Foeto - Maternal Medicine
Successful completion leads to a Certificate as a Fellow in Foeto-Maternal Medicine
Fellowship in High-Risk Pregnancy
Successful completion leads to a Certificate as a Fellow in High-Risk Pregnancy.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
Eligible candidates include those with MS/MD/DNB in Obs and Gyn/MRCOG who have obtained permanent registration with any State Medical Council.
Candidates with DGO in Obs and Gyn and permanent registration with any State Medical Council will also be considered.
Admission typically takes place in August, with the course commencing in September.
Selection is based on merit and aptitude, with an admission process involving a written test and interview.
All candidates sit for University examinations after completing the eighteen-month course, which includes both theory and practical components.

Promote specialist management of pregnancies with complex medical/obstetric problems, improving maternal and fetal outcomes
Enhance current standards of management for high-risk pregnancies and provide standardized patient care
Improve knowledge and practice in managing common maternal diseases during pregnancy
Provide comprehensive pre-pregnancy, antepartum, and intrapartum care and counseling for high-risk obstetric cases
Deliver expert diagnosis and understanding of mainstream obstetric practice.
Foster close working relationships with other disciplines, emphasizing multidisciplinary team care.
Encourage teaching and research into maternal conditions during pregnancy.
Develop specialized expertise, facilities, and clinical material to benefit patients.
Structured Training with Logbook
Our trainees demonstrate in-depth knowledge of
Basic sciences relevant to maternal medical conditions and fetal development
Pathophysiology, evaluation methods, and treatment for maternal disorders and pregnancy complications
An understanding of fetal development and complications such as aneuploidies and structural anomalies
Collaboration with other professionals for managing less common conditions.
Concepts of investigative science and research methodology.
